About the PM&C Graduate Program
Ready to make an impact? Our 12-month graduate program puts you at the heart of government — supporting the Prime Minister, Cabinet, and senior leaders to improve live forall Australians
Based in Canberra, you will gain hands-on experience across policy, programs and national priorities. You will work on issues that matter — advance Australia's interests and keep our country safe and prosperous.

Where you could work
- Domestic policy: dvelop and coordinate policy solutions for Australia's key economic, social and environmental challenges including climate change, Commonwealth-state relations and the social impact investing.
- Government: Promote consistency across government and manage public ceremonies, national honours and official establishments.
- International policy and national security: Provide advice on national security issues and Australia’s international relations, supporting global and regional cooperation.
- Office for Women: Advance the Australian Government's commitment to gender equality as a national priority.
- Behavioural Economics Team of the Australian Government: Apply behavioural insights and rigorous evaluation to improve public policy and administration.
- Australian Government Consulting: deliver consulting services to APS agencies to solve complex challenges.
- Social policy: placing Australians at the centre of policy and service delivery, focusing on increasing the opportunities, independence and wellbeing of vulnerable communities.
- Corporate: supporting PM&C’s internal functions including ministerial support, technology, finance, human resources, governance and audit.
