About the ATO

The ATO manages Australia’s tax and super systems to help build a better Australia by funding services and infrastructure such as schools and hospitals. Our graduates are empowered to think big, turn ideas into action and work together to deliver results that matter, like:

What you’ll do   

Engineer your career.

As an engineering graduate in our Data or IT streams, you’ll help design, deliver, manage, and protect technology solutions that underpin the ATO’s operations. You’ll work in a collaborative team environment, exploring e innovative ways to deliver high quality outcomes.  

With a qualification in engineering, the Data and IT streams offer opportunities for you to shape your career in one of the leading scaled agile methodologies in the industry. You could:   

  • support the design, build, testing and maintenance of data and analytics solutions
  • assist in developing technical solutions to improve access to data and optimise data usage
  • work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders to exchange information, influence decisions, and help resolve technical or administrative issues.
