About the role

We’re looking for a motivated graduate to join Pinnacle’s Sustainability team. This role will play a key part in strengthening our climate‑reporting capability, improving ESG processes, and supporting sustainability initiatives across Pinnacle and our Affiliates. You’ll contribute to scalable reporting systems, climate‑data analysis, financed‑emissions methodology, supply‑chain sustainability work and broader ESG strategy execution.

Climate & ESG Reporting

  • Support climate‑related disclosure readiness (ISSB/AASB S2/TCFD/CSRD) and sustainability reporting.
  • Assist with financial and emissions‑related data analysis, including basic modelling to support scenario analysis inputs and financed‑emissions calculations.
  • Help build efficient, repeatable workflows, templates and data processes.

Sustainability Strategy & Process Improvement

  • Support development of scalable ESG tools, systems and reporting efficiencies.
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and streamline sustainability processes.

Human Rights, Modern Slavery & Supply‑Chain Sustainability

  • Contribute to modern slavery risk assessments, due‑diligence activities and supplier engagement.
  • Support development of supply‑chain sustainability documentation and processes.

Social & Corporate Initiatives

  • Support social programs including the Women & Allies Network and reconciliation initiatives.

 Affiliate Engagement & Research

  • Support Affiliates in keeping ahead of ESG and Responsible Investment expectations by monitoring emerging standards, market trends and regulatory shifts.
  • Deliver clear guidance, insights and resources to help Affiliates meet rising sustainability requirements.

What we are looking for

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Sustainability, Environmental Science or similar.
  • Some knowledge of climate science, sustainability reporting and/or responsible investing, gained through study (undergraduate or Masters) or early career exposure.
  • Basic finance and modelling skills, with the ability to apply analytical thinking to climate‑related data and emissions work.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, solve problems, and help build scalable processes.
  • Global awareness or exposure to international sustainability standards is valued.
