We have factories and offices across Australia and New Zealand, so we’re looking for graduates who are open-minded, curious, and excited to explore different experiences and locations.
About the Research & Development Stream
Our R&D teams use science to help create safe, high-quality products for people and pets around the world. From developing new products and improving existing ones, to exploring sustainability and nutrition innovations, R&D plays a huge role in shaping what’s next at Mars.
This is a hands-on and collaborative stream where no two days are the same. One day you could be working in a lab or factory environment, the next analysing data, trialling new ideas, or partnering with different teams to solve real business challenges.
Potential rotations may include:
• Product Development
• Packaging Development
• Process Development
• Quality & Food Safety
• Product & Ingredient Innovation

We provide relocation support to graduates who are moving for their role, helping make the transition to a new location as smooth as possible.

Preferred Degrees
Science or Engineering degrees.
Eligibility
You can apply if you:
• Are an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident, and
• Will have completed your bachelor’s or postgraduate degree before the program starts
