The Assurance & Advisory division at HLB services a wide array of clients across multiple industries such as financial services, freight forwarding, not-for-profits and charities, technology, and construction. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing assurance and advisory engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis and risk assessments.
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
- Review client control environments, including a detailed review of client IT operations and systems.
- Collaborate with senior team members to provide insightful recommendations to clients.
- Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Work onsite at various client offices gaining a firsthand look at client operations and engaging in face to face contact with staff.
What We’re Looking For:
- A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive and motivated approach to work.
- Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
- Commitment to achieving the Chartered Accountants qualification.
