The Assurance & Advisory division at HLB services a wide array of clients across multiple industries such as financial services, freight forwarding, not-for-profits and charities, technology, and construction.  Employees in the division relish the opportunity to broaden their skillset and get exposure to these different industries whilst still being able to apply the core principles of auditing. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing assurance and advisory engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients.
• Conduct detailed financial analysis and risk assessments.
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports.
• Review client control environments, including a detailed review of client IT operations and systems.
• Collaborate with senior team members to provide insightful recommendations to clients.
• Stay updated with industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and best practices.
• Work onsite at various client offices gaining a firsthand look at client operations and engaging in face to face contact with staff.

What We’re Looking For:

• A recent graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A proactive and motivated approach to work.
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally.
• Commitment to achieving the Chartered Accountants qualification.
