Indirect Tax Graduate:

The Indirect Tax practice has established itself as a major player within Queensland’s marketplace, advising leading public and private sector organisations across a diverse industry base.  This is a unique opportunity that will allow you to grow your skills in various areas of indirect tax like goods and services tax (GST), fuel tax credits, stamp duty, land tax and payroll tax. You will be part of a positive and supportive culture where teamwork is key, and strong working relationships are built on mutual respect.

As an Indirect Tax Graduate, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Grow professionally, expanding legal skills (research, consulting and problem solving) through analysis and application of legislation and case law.
  • Support the delivery of advice on complex and emerging indirect tax issues for a prestigious client base, including local, multinational and ASX‑listed organisations.
  • Analyse and solve indirect tax technical issues arising from business restructures, mergers and acquisitions (transaction due diligence projects), and other commercial transactions. 
  • Prepare compliance lodgements and assist with revenue authority reviews and investigations.
  • Work collaboratively with a talented team committed to delivering excellent outcomes for clients.

To be eligible for our Graduate Program, you must be:

  • In your final year, or have recently completed a Law degree
  • Available to start in July 2026 or January 2027.
