Your Role

We’re excited to have the opportunity for a motivated and collaborative person to join our team as a Scientific Sales Specialist & Sales Support to join our ANZ team.

In this role, you’ll drive growth in the life sciences research and education market by supporting customers across New Zealand as a field-based Scientific Sales Specialist, alongside providing sales support for our sales team based in Sydney.

You will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships, providing consultative sales support, and helping researchers and educators find the right solutions from ADInstruments’ portfolio. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a life sciences background who is driven to learn and thrives in both customer-facing and inside sales environments. This role could suit an entry-level graduate or someone with one or two years of experience in science or in sales.

Skills and Experience

As a highly motivated and organised self-starter, you will be well-equipped to learn about the ADInstruments product range and provide specialist knowledge of ADInstruments products and their application. You’ll have a natural ability to build strong relationships and a solution-focused mindset.

We’re excited about you because you’ll bring:

• A tertiary qualification in the life sciences or biomedical engineering (essential)
• Ability to develop a strong understanding of ADInstruments’ product range and application areas
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and conduct cold calls
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• A flexible, collaborative approach and the drive to achieve sales goals
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% across the ANZ region
• Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM systems (desirable)
• Valid driver’s licence and fluent English
