The Programme 

An internship at adidas provides you with a unique opportunity to apply what you have learned at university, use your knowledge in practice and live your passion for sports. 

JOIN THE SOURCING COSTING TEAM: 

• The Sourcing Costing team maintains and manages the Labor and Overhead (LOH) Costing framework to drive seasonal negotiations with a global supply base.  
• Our team also runs historical costing data reporting and analysis for Sourcing senior leadership. 

What You Will Do 

• Support on the Seasonal Supplier LOH (Labor & Overhead) alignment including preparation, negotiation, rate publication, and internal communication.  
• Support on the dashboard/ system/ data maintenance (e.g., FOB achievement) 
• Support on routine operational tasks including data collection (e.g., labor data, CTV, costing standards), data mapping (e.g., cost breakdown model), and process documentation (e.g., costing materials creation) 
• Contribute to the strategic projects driven by the HK Costing team. 
• Identify areas in existing costing and reporting processes for improvement opportunities.  

Required Skills and Abilities 

• Student of Finance, Economics, Business Administration or similar. 
• Enrolled as full-time student for the complete duration of the internship. 
• Or in the so-called gap year between Bachelor and Master’s degree (gap year regulation only applicable to EU citizens due to working permit regulations) 
• Fluent in English. 
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail and interpretation. 
• Ability to accept and meet critical deadlines with good planning and organization skills. 
• Experienced user of Microsoft Office suite (esp. Power Point and Excel) 
• Action oriented and solution-minded team player. 
• Self-motivated with a keen interest in learning. 
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
