Are you ready to shape the future?
We are looking for a Junior Automation Tester to join our Sydney team and contribute to high-quality delivery across enterprise systems and integrated platforms. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys both technology and quality-focused work, and who wants to develop practical experience in automation, Agile delivery, and enterprise application testing.
In this role, you’ll work in a project environment supporting the delivery of robust, well-tested solutions. This role will suit candidates who bring a strong learning mindset, a solid technical foundation, and an interest in automation-oriented testing.
What You’ll Do:
Analyse requirements and support the development of effective test scenarios and test cases
Execute testing across functional, integration, system, and regression phases
Identify, document, and track defects to support timely resolution
Maintain quality artefacts including test scripts, evidence, data, and execution records
Work with developers, business analysts, and delivery teams to confirm requirements and expected outcomes
Use platforms such as Azure DevOps to manage tickets, updates, and testing progress
Assist in identifying areas where automation can improve quality and efficiency
Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint-based delivery activities
Contribute to the overall quality culture of the team through collaboration and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For:
Recent graduates or early career professionals with a passion for technology and innovation.
Background in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science or a related field.
Exposure to software testing, coding, scripting, or systems delivery is highly regarded
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Understanding of Agile ways of working, including sprints and ticket-based delivery.
Familiarity with tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira is beneficial.
Prior experience documenting test results or working with test evidence
Additional Requirements:
Candidates must be Australian Citizens
Candidates must be eligible to obtain Baseline security clearance
