 The Role

You will work closely with the local maintenance and production teams, and your focus will be simple but critical: Maximise tool time, eliminate waste, improve reliability.

You'll work to ensure the right people, the right parts, and the right process' are in place before work begins, so our trades can focus on quality execution, not chasing materials or waiting on decisions.

 What You'll Be Doing

• Working closely with the Maintenance Coordinator to develop structured maintenance plans and weekly schedules
• Prioritising safety-related work in all planning decisions
• Leading backlog reviews and improving work order discipline, liaising with lead trade team members as required
• Ensuring parts are available, correctly described and kitted
• Supporting predictive maintenance initiatives (vibration analysis, alarms, condition monitoring)
• Contributing to PM optimisation, root cause analysis and defect elimination
• Reviewing critical spares and improving inventory alignment
• Working closely with Production to align maintenance windows and equipment availability
• Assisting with forward works planning and in the execution of major plant upgrades and annual shutdown plans
• Liaising with suppliers to expedite parts and contract labour where appropriate
• Preparing and maintaining maintenance reports, including backlog, work order and schedule tracking

This is a role for someone who wants to influence, not just process paperwork and purchase orders.

About You

You'll bring:

• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in a mixed trade environment
• Strong commitment to a safety-first culture
• Knowledge of CMMS (MEX preferred), work order and PM management, inventory control, purchasing, and maintenance reporting
• Exceptional organisational and problem solving abilities
• A solid understanding of reliability principles and asset criticality
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, equipment manuals, and maintenance documentation
• The ability to work with both trades and operations leaders and coordinate across multiple teams
• Clear communication and structured approach
• A genuine interest in continuous improvement

You understand the difference between planning work and delivering work - and you know both are critical.
